Where is the manual located?
The manual is included with the application installation. It can be found in Applications/BackupBuddy. We are using the same manual for the Windows version at this time. The features of both versions are the same. We hope to have a more Mac friendly version soon.

What are the requirements for BackupBuddy for the Mac?
At this time, BackupBuddy requires Mac OS X. Panther and Tiger OS are supported. We no longer offer BackupBuddy for Mac OS 9. MissingSync users and Palm Desktop users can both use BackupBuddy for Mac OS X.

Is there a trial version of BackupBuddy for the Mac OS X?  Yes. Please feel free to download our free 15-day trial version of BackupBuddy for MacOS from here and test it out.

How do I register my trial version or purchase BackupBuddy for Mac OS?
Please visit our purchase center for information on purchasing. Click here to go to the purchase center. You can also click on the "buy now" icon to go to our online store. After purchase, you'll receive a registration key file that you install to your handheld device.

How do I uninstall BackupBuddy for the Mac?
You can use the uninstall tool located in your Applications/BackupBuddy folder.

I have 2 computers, a Mac and a Windows machine do I have to pay for both versions, i.e. cross grades?
No, if you purchase one version from us, we can give you the other version for free. :-) Just visit our site, purchase one copy at the regular price, forward your order confirmation email to sales@bluenomad.com and we will email you the registration information on the other product.

How do I get upgrades?  Upgrades and updates are provided by Blue Nomad, LLC in its sole discretion. That being said, all of our upgrades to up to BackupBuddy2 have been free to all registered users! BackupBuddy version 2 is the first paid upgrade in BackupBuddy history. If you haven't received the latest upgrade from us, please send us the following information: your order number or a copy of your sales receipt email, your full name, and the email address you registered under. You can also include any previous download link and password info. Send to upgrades@bluenomad.com.

How do I get technical support?
Send email to support@bluenomad.com Before emailing a support request, please include a copy of your HotSync log with the verbose logging feature of BackupBuddy enabled. Also include information on your handheld device, version of Palm Desktop software or MissingSync, HotSync Manager version, and version of Windows. please be sure to use the above address for fastest service.
