BackupBuddy VFS Professional updated to version 3.1.4

BackupBuddy VFS Professional has been updated to version 3.1.4, which you may download here:

This update is completely FREE for BBVFS 3.x users and does not require you
to re-enter your registration code if you have already registered;
you can simply download and install it over your existing 3.x version.

New features include:

• added option to backup after HotSync
  
• LifeDrive compatibility fixes

Bug fixes include:

• some password letters were being ignored
  
• fixed problem of backing up files encrypted with the built-in Security application
  
• blank screen/crash on startup
  
• crashes during orphans processing
  
• no scrollbar appeared when there were more than 10 checkpoints in the list
  
• didn't fail gracefully when trying to restore corrupted backup files

BackupBuddy for Mac OS X Released!
We are very excited to announce the release of BackupBuddy for Mac OS X, version 2! BackupBuddy for Mac OS X contains all the features of its Windows counterpart, and works both with the MissingSync from Markspace as well as with the regular Palm Desktop. Additionally, since BackupBuddy is licensed on a per device basis, you can backup your handheld on both your Windows computer and your Mac without any additional cost! So for example, if you're already purchased a license (for the 2.x Windows version) you can download this new version to your Mac and immediately begin using it without needing to purchase any additional licenses. :)

As we've written before, BackupBuddy 2.0 is a ground-up rewrite of the original BackupBuddy, and contains many new and exciting features which you can read about below and at our website:
